Did my first Urban Exploration shoot on Friday. Great fun! I'm hoping to go back a few times. I only just skimmed the surface. Apart from the hangers which are in use most of the rest of the base deserted. No need to break in you can just drive up and park in front of the old Guardroom

Wow, I love 10 and 16 (with the bed frame).

Looks like Banksy's a fan of this place too!

If this place was near me I'd be over like a shot

Cheers - Yeah the Banksy stuff was a nice bonus.

The last image has been removed, I'm surprised you put it in. It can go in the Gallery but needs to have the adult filter applied to it.

I was adding numbers to he images while you were censoring the post. I'll remove it lest any children are harmed.

Great set of images especially the mono ones, I've always fancied derelict scenes. I'm not far from RAF Upwood do you need to get permission to go on there.

Hope you don't mind could'nt resist it.

It was removed because many would consider it offensive, but I'm sure you know that really. There's no need to be flippant about it. If you must post it, please do so marked as an adult photo in the Gallery.

Nice set.
10 & 11 really do it for me

I also love 20, Did you add extra noise? I think the noise makes the image (IMHO)

Ratcatcher, no the place is open. Just drive in and park up in front of the guardroom here

Then enter the building opposite and once you've snapped in there ( banksy stuff is on the first floor ) then go out the back of that building and head north east where you'll come across the dining building/cookhouse.

Don't forget to take a torch as there's no leccy in the bunkers

I like #4 also but I wish the man in the distance didn't have his tripod and camera in the frame as it'd be more of a mysterious shot if he didn't

Edit - I also visited Smeggys and saw the infamous last image that was deleted. I can see why it was removed!

Hey Gareth.. No there's no HDR going on. - Everything is 100% lightroom, except the B&Ws have extra structure/film type in Silver Efex Pro. Which was how the last image was done Father Ted.
