But I am not much of the flora fan. Dig to immortalize flowers und staff in sensor for practice reasons, but not to record for the future generetions.
I agree they are all shots to be proud of. Fantastic reflections and colours

I find the perspective a little off-putting. The super wide image compressed into a single frame is quite odd - particularly number 3.
Is my fisheye lens less deceitful (making no bones about how it crammed so much scenery into the shot) or have I just got used to it?
They are well deserved. Mind you having read Darkmunk's comments I must admit that the way number 3 has been taken makes me feel a little sick - not the beauty of the picture just the fisheye (?) effect. There was one on the weekly competition for Movement - the one of the train, that had the same effect! Any ideas why?

The brain is good at figuring out how much should be in a given area and what sort of distortion to expect. When you have things with very recognisable perspective - like clouds, The brain expects things a certain way. The fisheye 'tells' the brain how it did it and so the brain can accept it more readily.
For me the fisheye is just that much more illustrative and fun.
But these shots are lovely all the same. I think it would be interesting to try stretching number 3 a little widthways to see if it's even better. Something for nothing? Maybe.
