Still life CDs.

This is something that I have never tried before, and as this weekend was a bit wet I thought I would give it a go.

Not really inspired by vases of flowers, I tried to build a coposition out of CD's

First one was ISO 100, F5.6 for 3 secs (18-55 kit lens)

second one almost exactly the same but with a one second exposure ISO 100, F5.6 for 1 secs (18-55 kit lens)

The out of focus background was done in photoshop as an adjustment layer to focus on the the drops on the CD and not the cases.

Does the manipulation in photshop work or is it a poor picture anyway.
