Updating to a K-r

I have a KR and I have used Video with a older SMC 200mm F4 fixed-length telephoto, which as I recollect I bought maybe 25 - 30 years ago!
What you can do of course is take your lens into the shop and ask to try it.

agree with the above... will add the following tip:
Having used BOTH the af 50 1.4 and the m 50 1.4 I can assure you the older m lenses have a much better feel to the focus for video use....... manually focusing for video is what the pros do...
set the aperture you like, do your metering, then lock the ae and shoot away!

Well I did get my K-r but unfortunatly SRS did not have the black version in stock for the open day. I traded my K-m with lenes for £200 which I thought was a good price. Local photo shop had one K-r in stock.
Looking forward to getting out and giving it a try.
