Updating to a K-r

I am thinking of updating my K-m to a K-r. The K-m came with two kit lenes that I am happy with so I will just get a K-r body. My question is will these lenses work with the video option on the K-r. Looks as if the kit lens supplied with the K-r is the same as I have but I want to be sure.

I have a KR and I have used Video with a older SMC 200mm F4 fixed-length telephoto, which as I recollect I bought maybe 25 - 30 years ago!
What you can do of course is take your lens into the shop and ask to try it.

Any lens that works on a Pentax will work in video mode.

agree with the above... will add the following tip:

Having used BOTH the af 50 1.4 and the m 50 1.4 I can assure you the older m lenses have a much better feel to the focus for video use....... manually focusing for video is what the pros do...
set the aperture you like, do your metering, then lock the ae and shoot away!

Well I did get my K-r but unfortunatly SRS did not have the black version in stock for the open day. I traded my K-m with lenes for £200 which I thought was a good price. Local photo shop had one K-r in stock.

Looking forward to getting out and giving it a try.
