Unwanted Digital Camera?

I'm looking for an unwanted digital camera (1.3MP would do fine) so that I can teach my 5 year old Grandaughter how to take pictures. She's had a go under supervision and did pretty well.

I'm after something very low cost as it may or may not survive very long and an old 1.3MP would be quite adequate. The sort of thing that wouldn't even be worth eBaying. In fact an older model would be a good idea as it would be bigger and easier for her to hold.

Does anybody have anything likely - if so, please PM me with a price and we'll see what we can do.

Thanks!
Best regards, John

Hi John,

if you get no joy, they can be picked up for around £10 (in P&P) on ebay (even new). Here's a couple after a quick flick through.. just search in the photography category with the string 1.3.

But how much for a new battery? Probably best to buy a dozen cameras so you never have to try to find one.

I think I had one of those Olympus jobbies and it took AA batteries.

the middle one, certainly, takes AAA batteries, (and CF cards) but I know what you mean. I think the cheaper ones will probably take AAs or AAAs simply because it keeps production costs down, and negates the need to develop proprietry batteries for what in reality are probably very short production runs in comparison to the more expensive branded models.
