This was taken with a K20D.

I have finally got round to trying my old A series X2-s Rear Converter with my DA* 300.

The location is a corridor and store room at home. Handheld, no anti-shake, and manually focussed at around 3 metres, f4, 1/180 and the on camera flash - with the lens hood in the reversed storage position.

To me the colours are good, the "hammered" paint finish is well defined and it is easy to see the way the Union Flag decal was stuck on.

I was thinking of selling the Rear Converter when the new SDM version becomes available, but after seeing how well it works, I will keep it and buy the SDM too.

What do you mean by intrusions?

That was "as it was" the brown stripe is a flexible magnet on the cabinet.

And that the flag is the right way up, too.

As you say, nice definition in the hammered effect.

Yes, the right way up - possibly.

If you take the decal on its own then yes it is, BUT there is a hinge on the door (out of view to the right) which could be treated as the flag pole/staff and that would mean it is up side down!

Yes, you are right, but that the image was as close to "as taken" as I could get, no cropping, no tweaking, no enhancing, just RAW to JPG - to demonstrate the K20D+DA*300+Ax2-s combination. I even left the small flaw in the red printing - most would have gone and recoloured it.

Hello there!
Recently took a picture of a local monument in my hometown - Ljubljana, Slovenia. It reminds me of union flag.

Cheers from Slovenia,
