Who hasn't already moved to competitors?
Me for one.
I have looked to the skies.........your wait will soon be over.
But to answer your first question: yes, Pentax has a sense of time as Spring in GB, Europe, Japan and the US, runs from March 1st or 21st - depending on your beliefs - to June 1st or 21st and the release is well within that period. Your other questions seem even more leading so I'll leave those.

I feel quite relaxed about it all, but then I'm not waiting for FF like it is some kind of photographic nirvana.
Agree. I see a Pentax K-3ii with a FF sensor, and with some physical elements of the K-S2 like a floppy screen and wifi.
As an aside, has anyone seen any low light/high ISO test shots from the K-1?
friend of mine has had a new N***** D5** on order for several months and his expected delivery date keeps getting put back and the camera he expected in February is now scheduled for late May (possibly).
At least get the correct amount of letters for the brand even if for some inexplicable reason you have a problem typing the word Nikon.
Anyway, according to a couple of posts elsewhere SRS could be shipping UK K-1 pre-orders as early as the end of this week/beginning of next.
I'm really looking forward to seeing the first reviews (of both the K-1 and the D500)
I thought that the new FF was coming spring? Are we talking southern hemisphere? Do Pentax have any concept of time? Do they have any concept of new and decent lenses ff ready. All a tad late I fear. Who hasn't already moved to competitors?
If you have had the opportunity to handle the K-1 and the new lenses issued, and compared them with equivalent bodies from Canon and Nikon as I did at the Photography Show, then you would know that no such move is in on the cards. I did this with an open mind as buying the K-1 also realistically involves a large outlay at some time on new lenses so the time to change brands but the K-1 wins on handling and less reliance on screen menus for changing settings. And why do you think Nikon put the D810 on a special deal at the same price as the K-1? Don't need to spell that out.
Now the K-1 is imminent and I am considering one for use with all of the FF Pentax lenses I have. I've followed the news reports on the K-1 and it appears to be a very capable camera but so are my other Pentax DSLR's.
To me, jumping ship is like burning bridges. There's no need to do it. I regularly mix kit on a shoot and don't have issues doing so.
Roll on the K-1, it's the first FF in a very long while to scare the opposition. The good news for multi users is price drops and improvements across the other brands as well.
I am also waiting to evaluate the D500.
Best regards
I'm not a Pentax hater, quite the opposite but jeez they take their time. I am concerned about their outdated lenses though.
You could equally say jeez Canikony are taking their time to release an MF camera, but as others pointed out, it's just a matter of days now before you can buy a K-1.
Lenses; how many new lenses do you want? D FA 15-30mm F2.8, 24-70mm F2.8, 28-105mm F3.5 - 5.6, *70-200mm F2.8, 150-450mm F4.5-5.6 (all WR/AW) were all released in the last few weeks. By my reckoning there are now over 20 new/current full frame Pentax lenses. Also Sigma, Tamron, Samyang etc offer quite a few more new lenses but I haven't counted them up. Then of course there are legacy lenses from Pentax et al, plus current Pentax 645 lenses with an adapter, plus legacy Pentax 6 x 7 lenses............ And I am confident that more new lenses will follow.
I don't really see the problem.
Personally I have run out of reasons to not buy a FF Pentax, and after all, spring is still in the air.
Guess you might be buying one too Barry, or have we lost you forever to the "dark side"?
Oh well I'll be skiing again soon so hope it turns up before the next snow,
But not jumping ship having bitten my nails for the last couple of years: tried out the opposition which would struggle to overshadow the K3 2 so frankly jumping ship is now not in my thinking.
Keep the faith brothers, the second coming is upon us or is it the third.
If you must have such a camera then it's surely worth the wait.

I use Nikon (D3 and D7100) - one is getting long in the tooth and the other has a pathetic buffer - and I am interested in the D810 and D500...To get the best out of them you need fantastic lenses....£800-£2000 and up. You may want to go for the budget lenses which is not recommended or the very expensive primes which require a photography derived income or lottery win. When you start to filter out the lens options for Nikon or Canon you then realise there are fewer options than there appears to be.
As for the K-1 being late....the D5 and D500 are late as well, Canon have a better knack at getting the stuff into the shops but then you get horror stories from the early adopters.....
