There are meteorological seasons and astronomical seasons. Most people would regard June as summer, and September as autumn, rather than mostly spring and summer which they are astronomically. What the Japanese thin of as spring is probably similar. Either way there is still lots of time to get the camera out in spring.

there is nothing wrong with pentax apart from they dont know how to market them selfs
that is there biggist down fall
if they got that wright the skys the limit

Looking forward to the new camera, but as I live in Inverness spring tends to end as autumn starts so I may have a longer wait

Well I take some of it back. Merchant city cameras in Glasgow had a touchy feely session with a K1 and a very helpful informative Ricoh rep. April 25th is the date of arrival although preorders will be the first served. A very nice piece of kit and the articulating screen works well and is very sturdy as he was keen to show all by shaking the camera vigorously by the extended screen. However he did concede that there were some issues in AF speed with the older primes that will be addresses by new primes in the offing.

The official meteorological seasons are each three actual calendar months long with Spring being March, April and May.
