Nice change to see this in mono, the night shots are more often done in full fat colour.

Was that not a long exposure? Very good shot, it works well in fact as mono, and the black surrounds offsets the lit buildings beautifully.

Thank you very much guys really happy with the way this one turned out. Sorry Nigel i meant daytime long exposures next! heading up to Blyth on Monday morning Alan to get some shots up your way any suggestions or tips?

Anywhere on the beach Mal
Low tide is 9:47, so I'd probably give the jetty a miss directly in front of the car park.
There's between the 2 piers, the south pier, the outfall pipe, timbers from a previous pipe, groynes. Turn around and there's the beach huts, fences in the dunes.
Then there's the quayside, with the wind turbines. Seaton Sluice is worth a look too.
Look forward to seeing your pictures
