Just bought an F 100/2.8 Macro which unfortunately has some haze inside - such a shame because if there's no direct backlight it produces beautiful images....

Daft as it sounds with such a deeply recessed front element, try sticking a hood on it. I always do and it can make quite a difference sometimes.

Nope David - doesn't sound daft as that will help with slight incidental backlighting The main problem is how it handles background lightsources when they are directly in the line of sight of the lens elements As a straight macro it is still superb

Well captured macro! The tulip looks very beautiful in macro. I liked to see Flower macro.
