For those camera club types out there, I am pleased to say that I was successful in my MPAGB on Sunday.

You can read all about it here

I wasn't aware you even had a C or D but well done, although looking at your style and quality of work it's not really surprising

I'm really happy for you, but I must say I'm not surprised. The quality of your pictures (composition, lighting, exposure and post processing) is way above the average, so I must say you deserve the recognition.

Well done, and keep impressing us with your images.

Well done, Tim. Terrific achievement and very well deserved. The portfolio is wonderful, particularly that first statuesque shot of Holly. What amazes me is the way in which you continue to develop your photography, aways pushing the boundaries.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Fantastic set - absolutely stunning. The award is well deserved - and the breath holding must have been rather worrying

Congrats, brilliant work, you sir are a very very talented artist. One of the top 10 amongst this clique. I have a question though, why do you think it is that UK camera judges are so negative about nude photography? I'd be interested to hear anyone's thoughts on this.
As for me, all I know is that I know nothing.

Thank you Lü, and I believe only an extremely small proportion of UK camera club judges are negative about nudes, but if I enter an exhibition where one of them is judging then I have wasted my money, and once that has happened a couple of time you tend to give up.

Why are they negative? Probably because they think nudity=sex, whereas I what I am trying to achieve is nudity=beauty. They are obviously right, and Botticelli, Michelangelo, all the pre-Raphaelites, cezanne, gaugin, klimt and the majority of the great artists who have ever lived are wrong!
