Trigger Trap setting K30

Hey Steve
I have Triggertrap, a k30 and use it with my nexus 4/5, I encountered two main problems when getting to grips with it.
1. The volume level for the audio output on the phone needs to be pumped right up otherwise i couldn't get it to work
2. Making sure the camera has the right settings for the shutter release in Bulb (either press twice, once to start exposure, once to finish, or hold for exposure duration) unfortunately I can't remember which worked at the moment try both.
Other than that once i sorted these have had no problems just plugging it in setting camera to bulb and going, will try remember to check settings when i get home.

I had it set as a 10 second exposure
