Great sharpness and colour. What a fantastic view as well. They're a bit small though!

Great shots! And fabulous weather. I'm not sure which I am more envious of at the moment .
# 5 and #6 are my personal favourites.
You have managed to capture the huts very well - so they look like buildings not just heaps of stone.
I went there many, many years ago, when a lot younger and fitter.
Doesn't it mean Giants Town? That's what the (Welsh) boyfriend at the time told me it meant anyway.

The huts are very well preserved, I'm not sure if some restoration work has taken place.Great shots! And fabulous weather. I'm not sure which I am more envious of at the moment .

As to its meaning, giant in Welsh is CAWR, although as you say I've also heard that the name means Giant's Town.

Looks like a North Wales outing should be arranged .
Much as I'd love to return to the old country I wouldn't be able to make that and Scotland, and the Scottish meet is easier for me tbh.
My Aunt lived in Caergwrle, and I still have a cousin somewhere there - Llay was the last I heard.
But we also had family in Bethesda, which is where we spent most summers (hence the boyfriend :wink.
Much as I'd love to return to the old country I wouldn't be able to make that and Scotland, and the Scottish meet is easier for me tbh.

I'm not familiar with Wrexham/Llangollen, Stuey.
Gwyn, a North Wales outing, great, Bethesda is only about twenty minutes away from me .

Wrexham/ Llnagollen is a pretty decent area for photo's - it's worth a look
Bethesda is an hour and a half to two hours away for me but this is not an issue.
May I suggest that if there were to be a PU meet in North Wales that Pete's Eats in Llanberis may make a very nice base from which to work
Or even Cobdens Bar, can't recall how far from Capel Curig this is but I would need a driver as Cobdens Ale by Conwys Breweries is a bit of a favouirte of mine - (maybe no beer would be better photographically speaking)
I am open to idea's on this subject but a new post in the meetings section may be more appropriate

Sorry for the delayed response I was off the computer last night as I wasout at Glyndwr Uni watching Micky Flanagan I'm not familiar with Wrexham/Llangollen, Stuey.

The remains of 150 stone huts can still be clearly seen.
From the top there is a 360 degree viewpoint, looking down the Lleyn Peninsula, Snowdonia, Anglesey and Caernarfon Bay.
Some of these viewpoints are included, together with the remains of some of the huts.
I'm unsure what the name actually means; Tre is Welsh for town.
1 Hut no.1
2 View towards Snowdonia
3 Stone Ruins
4 View towards the Lleyn
5 View towards Snowdonia pt.2
6 Hut no.2
7 Hut no.3
All shot with the Kx and Sigma 10-20 and 18-50.
