Nice rainy day project - It might look even better in b&w.
Many of the photos I have seen from the K10D on the web have been excellent - not sure what the pixel peepers and reviewers are complaining about. I hope Pentax sort out the few QC issues that have cropped up.

I'm happy that your getting that much light through the window, I poked my K10D out the window about 10am this morning and got a meter reading of 0.7sec at f5.6, Talk about suffering from SAD!
Oh well, tommorows forcast is "sunny intervals" how long those intervals will last remains to be seen.
I was going to post a picture of a Robin, but the exposure was that long he didn't look like a Robin anymore.

The detail in the full-sized image is amazing, and the subtly from the PRIME engine is superb. I suspect the pixel-peepers have climbed so high up the Kanikon tree they are afraid to fall off!
Oh and I've been really naughty (well it is my birthday in a couple of weeks) and bought the AF-360FGZ to keep the camera happy.

I started photographing all the family heirlooms and knick-nacks.
This is a close-up of a pair of Antelope carvings that were given to my Mother by her Aunt who lived in Africa for a long time.
1 sec @ F13, ISO100 natural light from window. 16-45mm Lens on K10D
Yes, I should have cleaned the dust off the carvings before I photographed them!
