Totally confused ;(

I am trying to figure out my Pentax K-r and it's not going too well. I am probably just being impatient but I would like to know how to see what I am taking a picture of through the LCD screen? I'm not sure how to turn this option on. I would also like to know more about the HDR setting, what mode does your camera have to be in to use this setting? Any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like you haven't selected live view mode.
This might help or someone else will be along to help shortly I'm sure.

Whops, I see you have a K-r and not a K-x, sorry.

Ok my stupid self figured out that all I had to push was the lv button in order to use the lcd screen. I still would like to figure out more when it comes to using the hdr setting, as I can't seem to turn it on. I can get to it but I cant scroll down to it. Also does anyone know the best setting for taking pictures of fish in a fish-tank? Thanks!!!

No your right, thats exactly what i didn't do lol. I'm getting ready to have a baby in the next few weeks and my brain has turned to mush ;( Thanks!!
