Topaz webinar.

Has anyone ever used these and if so what did you think ?.
I got topaz b and w and was invited to join one.

Never tried one!
But, looking at the website, it's easy to se what they are about.
Discounts!!
Buy these extra CDs!!
If what you learn is worth more to you than what you pay to learn it - go for it.
I would rather have a good piece of software + a good book and then find out what I want to do and read how to do it in my own time. But then, I am used to "reading the manual"; others may learn better from being shown how to do it.

Well as far as I can see they are free, and are effectively tutorials to give worked examples of using their products. All here: http://www.topazlabs.com/tutorials/

I just had a look at one of the Topaz Adjust ones and it looks like a fairly comprehensive introduction to the product. There are other much more advanced ones.

When they are 'webinars' you sign up to see them live (for free) but they all get archived as tutorials anyway, like the ones linked above.

Unless I missed there is no exhortation to buy anything!

Tried one last night and it has probably saved me a load of time experimenting and mucking about. There was no pressure what so ever to purchase new software just a gentle hint at some discount if i was thinking of buying more of their products i thought it was worth an hour of my time.

I've tried one of these in the past, as well as two of the 'Nik' webinars.
All were excellent and I felt I learnt more in that short time than I would from reading the instructions/guides. Topaz & Nik do a fairly comprehensive range of webinars on a regular basis.
