I've had a reply which should help other frustrated Topaz users.
Hi mannesty,
Thanks for the feedback. Currently the Exif data is not getting lost, but the transfer from photoFXlab back to LR on certain systems will make a part of the Exif data disappear from the LR interface. This is a read issue only, but it is still there. We are working on how to resolve this, but the current workaround is to simply right-click on your image and select Read Metadata from file...you should then see everything correctly.
All the best,
Nichole
