A lovely image Alan.
Great composition, the sun is in just the right position. You were obviously in the right place at the right time. I don't think you could have planned this photograph.
I trust this will be adorning your walls or the walls of an exhibition. Have you thought of contacting The Photographic Angle? (try Googling it)
Alan, please don't keep this to yourself, the whole world needs to see it.

It is a stunningly beautiful and thought provoking statue.
It has been photographed a million tines
No image I have seen of it ever does it justice.... until now
I suspect you do not realise just how good this is Alan - it really is an amazing image that any tog should be proud of and it deserves to be seen. Compare this to the photo that appears of Tommy on the Town council website for instance!
It will be a long time before you better this one Alan

Hey, thanks everyone for the great feedback. I've got another couple of decent shots, but those ones need a little bit of work in photoshop, which I'm useless with. Thankfully this one didn't need photoshop

Just magnificent, you have achieved something very special here Alan, that is to capture not only the light and the moment superbly, but to somehow also capture the very essence and mood of what the statue portrays.
I agree with all of the above and would add that this image should be published.
