Good captures, Don. 500mm focal length, which lens was this shot with?

thanks Steve, I was using the Tamron 70-200 with 1.7 converter as I wanted to be able to pull back for the big C17 but alas it came in from a different direction and was a poor shot.

'My' Spitfire can't equal yours for colour, sharpness, IQ etc. It was taken by a fellow pilot of my father's during the Azerbaijan Crisis of 1946. I've added minimal colour (the aircraft wasn't camouflaged). My father had been in Transport Command, supplying Burma, during the war. As a reservist he was recalled, given an hour's briefing on the differences from flying a Douglas DC3, and then sent off down the runway. All things considered, it's a miracle I'm here!

Good and sharp for hand held at that long end..
I saw KPOW at the Warbirds show in 2011, only had a rubbish Canon S90 PnS with me at the time, glad I managed to sell that.
