Tommee Tippee

Some may think the idea a little off the wall but I think these 'Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Insulated Bottles Carriers' link make excellent lens pouches and are relatively inexpensive. I use one to carry my Viv S1 105mm macro lens in and I think it's superb. I don't really care that the carry handle sports 'Tommee Tippee' on it, though this might be an issue for some. Whether or not they are suitable for long term storage I'm not sure. I'd be interested in what others thoughts might be about these...

What you need are lenses, more lenses, bigger lenses, better lenses, faster lenses, vintage lenses and when you have these, your pictures will be perfect!

I'd be worried about condensation inside the bottle......any moisture inside, or on the lens, would be trapped there. I certainly wouldn't risk long-term storage in there, unless you chuck a couple of silicon pouches in there too.

I've got two or three of them and they work well. Offer good impact protection but not sure how water proof the outside fabric is. They are made of padded fabric, inside and out so no problem with condensation.

I think I only paid around 50p each, at car boot sales.
