Agree with above, except for the triangle, don't like it and would crop out.

I like this photo. Alternative route would have been to take photo from the left side that is lighted by the sun, but this way there is more certain atmospheric qualities in the photo, which I feel works better here. Perhaps putting more contrast would increase the dramatic feel here, though I've been criticized for putting too much contrast in my photos so I may be wrong. Also my monitors are not the best so that may influence what I see. Just my two and a half cents.
P.S. To me the thing in the top looks like a pine cone.

A strong, "quiet" image which is most pleasing, Kris. My only point would be the extreme contast in the "cone" but given the quality of the light this would be hard to control.

Nice BW conversion (or scan?) but I'm not keen on the pine cone thing, it's too dark on one side and too bright (blown out?) on the other. I can see what Snappy means about the black triangular shadow too, although to be honest the yellow watermark is more distracting! Is it worth trying a BW watermark for BW images?
I do like the light though, especially the lines of light along the edges.

The triangle at the bottom makes me feel it's on a slope which it isn't. I think you could probably lose it. There is a slight dark area top left which could probably go. I agree it's a pity the lighting is so harsh on the pineapple but I doubt there's much you can do about it. It all seems a little cramped somehow.
Overall lovely B&W conversion and sharp too, it would be nothing if it wasn't sharp.
