Toad in the woods

I’ve been a bit preoccupied with other things for a while but stopped in today hoping to see some posts of last night’s show in the sky.

Here are a couple of a toad, or is it a frog? How do you tell the difference.

All with the KP and 55-300.

Nice. Looks like a toad to me - dry and warty skin rather than the smooth and slimy-looking skin of a frog. And if you saw it walk then it's definitely a toad, frogs usually jump.

Very nice toad pictures.

Wow... well spotted

Thanks all, MrsC can take the credit for spotting the toad. Thanks for the biology lesson also.
