Grabbed my KP and 55-300 PLM on a road trip from Stuttgart into Franconia. It’s such a handy and compact combo.

We saw loads of storks in the fields and one village had about 20 nests occupied.

Excellent, both you and the KP/55-300 have done a good job . And those storks certainly beat the herring gulls and jackdaws nesting behind and in the chimney a couple of houses up the road from me.

They seem to be under-exposed by about a stop or a bit more. If you don't want to involve a PC then that's fixable in-camera if you shoot RAW.

Thanks for the suggestion about pushing up the exposure. I do have the raw files and will have a play with it once I get home and upload to the PC.
