One thing you should be wary of while walking is keeping to the footpaths which should be clearly signposted with fingerposts or round discs on fences and gates indicating the route to follow. If you plan to walk a lot in any area then I'd recommend getting an Ordnance Survey map - the purple one is excellent. In some areas farmers can be pretty firm with people who stray from the paths but the worst I find are people who have bought country properties and defend their boundaries with vigour!
You can see small areas of these maps on line at:

Click on the large circle, type in the place name and then browse the map which is generally accepted as definiive even though there are some mistakes!

One last question while I'm at it: is there anything in particular of which I should take precautions while walking in the English country sides (wolves, Ice bears, lions, letal spiders, human beings ?)
No nasties in Britain unless you accidently take a short cut through a safari park like Longleat.
Just be aware of speed limits on our roads as Britain is littered with speed cameras. There are many sharp bends on the moor's roads so be careful and have a safe holiday.
ps, Don't forget the camera and plenty of SD cards and batteries because we'll want to see those photos.
