Thank you for your kind comments, yes I agree re the sharpness, maybe to shallow dof.
The slight sepia look was from pp in iphoto, convert to b&w, then boost colour by one. I find it gives an aged look without becoming overpowering.

Well seems photography makes one younger, certainly feel like I'm back in the school yard.

Did you use to run three and claim you'd run four?

Come on JR, this was a series of shots taken with a Pentax. To round things off he slipped an old one in.The forum is intended to Pentax images only, so please bear it in mind for next time?
Yes, he should have noticed (and noted) that. Yes, this is a Pentax forum. But I rather would see one very good Canikon photo presented in a topical series of what mostly are Pentax shots than a 20-odd photo post with crap shots incidentally made using a Pentax camera.
He will write a hundred times "I shouldn't touch a non-Pentax camera or go near one" and all will be well.

Thanks for the support chap, but in fairness I made a mistake and have had a chat with John, and I fully understand his remark and why it was made. The disingenuous remarks by others are less well received, but more indicative of forum life across the internet. So to make amends I have posted today some images with pentax camera and older pentax lens..see waiting for mum
