Nice sharp shots Don.
The brown is your garden variety, still quite young, as it hasn't lost the darker collar just yet. No longer a juvenile though - the ones I've seen of those have a black spot on the top of their heads, and can be a sort of greeny-brown colour.
Mate of mine got bitten on the ankle by one slashing a paddock - spent a couple of days flat on his back in a ward at the local hospital. The drongo was wearing thongs...

You'd get the Western (King) browns up your way surely Don? They get up to 6 foot easily. I had an up-close and personal encounter with one that size near Hay in NSW in 2007. Fortunately, I had a spare pair of undies with me.

We mostly see the pythons (harmless)and the red bellied black.Took two of us to carry a python out of the bakery one night

I'd love to see a koala. Didn't realise they were so rare. Can do without snakes. Got them here as well.
