LOL. One of my best mates is a carpenter. Many years ago I asked him what tolerance he worked to and his instant reply was "Spot on!"

The Brain Surgeon left his house, in Norfolk, to go to work and noticed a Road Digger carefully marking the road with yellow paint.
When he returned later that day he noticed that the whole in the ground matched the yellow paint marks and that the Road Digger was standing having a cup of tea.
Aiming to be sociable he approached the worker and started a conversation:
"You know, you and I are a lot alike" said the Surgeon.
Looking at the mans tailored designers suit and convertible mercedes the Road Digger replied with a frown:
"Ow's that then?"
"Well as a Brain Surgeon I have to carefully measure everything before I start work and I have to work to very fine tolerances of factions of a millimeter" said the Surgeon.
Thinking for a minute the Worker replied:
"Nah, thas nuffin like oi, when oi dig a rud oi ave to be SPOT ON"
