Taken in Stourbridge a petrol station converted to a service laundry - they have good parking if nothing else.

The most obvious one would be that you need to re-size it to 800pixels wide, or re-title it as "Two flues".

I thought that the width restriction only applied in competitions? Wouldn't be as good with 33% less - if I can't do quality I can at least do quantity!

I like this, are you sure it isn't a covert advert for lego?

I like it...but.
I'd rotate it slightly to get that join in the metal between the upper and lower vents horizontal.(IMHO)
Getting there! Thanks to you guys

Jigger I thought I had although there are no parallel lines in that construction so if one is right another isn't!

I forgot to take my grey card with me which I'm sure would have helped this image.

After seeing this picture, and initially liking it a lot, I had a idea which I first checked with Mike. I thought, there are in a "graphical way" several strong elements that would make a great Triptych.
Mike said: Have a go with it, so here it is. And to be honest
I kind of like it.

Not sure - I feel the yellow looks artificial against the true and oddly industrial blue. I don't know makes this blue but there's a devil of a lot of it used round here.

I think I'd have taken a mirror image of the left hand panel to make the right and that would lose the warped wood top right and get teh bright rivets looking better.

Each to his and her own however.

You are right, of course. Maybe a plain white background would have worked better. And your remark about the mirror image probably gives it a more symmetric feeling. Anyway....as you said, each to his/her own.

I like the picture Mike. This is the kind of thing I wish I could "see" more when I am out and about looking for subjects. You have a good eye.

It was a two hour walk and I'm confident I didn't see dozens of opportunities which I find so frustrating.
