Have just measured the thread on mine which fits the K10D - 1/4inch. Hope that helps. (There is no part number marking on it!)

1/4" was/is the normal but I wonder how long before someone moves to a 6mm, 8mm or 10mm coarse metric thread?

Hope someone could answer me a quick question as my mind has turned to porridge. I wanted to order an additional quick release plate today and I can't remember if I need 1/4" or 3/8" size?
Quarter
ThreeEights
Don't have my camera with me and I couldn't find anything with the search on here.
Thanks
Lee
