OK people, Its that time again, And as you know, If the queen can have a speech then so can I. lots of good things happened this year, and i don't mean Peter Andre seeing sense and dumping that slag Jordan.lol.
sadly lots of bad things as well, job losses, economy, finding another patch of balding or more grey hairs. But that is why in the new year we must enter it with a positive mental attitude, and remember that past is in the past , and future is future, oh and that Biggest loser starts on 5th January!, oh and my birthday is march the 15th, so wising you all well and a very merry Christmas and a happy new year

Happy Snapping
peace and love

Carlo

P.S

Fave Buddhist quote at the min

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned. Buddha

Better to have one lens and take many photos than have many lenses and remain at home confused.

I really like the anger quote but the Little and gain doesn't seem so good as it assumes that you can always achieve what's required with 'a little' or at least not 'much'. I'd have thought they could up with something a bit better although I accept the broad sentiment.

Then again 'have little and gain' at which point do you gain too much and become confused?

Come on Buddha bit of help here!

The one I like I can never recall exactly but it's along the lines of don't worry about things. Fix what you can fix and don't stress about what cannot be fixed. It's more subtle than that but that's the gist of it.

Bunch of bleedin' Hippies!

The Bauhaus philosophy 'Less is more' is applicable to many aspects of life. - Particularly photography.
No man is worth his salt, who has not been banned from at least one Forum, and two Flickr groups.
