Missed bargain.........

So busy lying in bed this morning before going to London to see the out-laws!

Using i-phone to scour the web for post Christmas bargains whilst wife in the shower, and Warehouse Express had a reconditioned K7 with 18-55 for £680......

Couldn't be ar$ed to get proper computer out and snap up a bargain, and they're only 20 mins from us, open on Tuesday so I can examine before I buy................thought well Pentax, no-one else will spot and click on that today............. and thought no more about it - other than for the 2 hour journey down to London, thinking, how can I tactfully explain to wife sitting beside me, that of course, £700 on a second (well to be main body) is an entirely justifiable purchase, less than a week after an expensive Christmas, and a £700 camera is much more needed than carpets / curtains / washing machines etc....... ( I realise £700 is peanuts compared to some camera bodies and all relative however her phone has an 8 Meg camera, so can therefore take nearly just a good a pic as my 10Mpg K-m )


Yep - got down to London, logged on to cousins lappie to check... and gone!

Ah well............. Should be a nice tax rebate due around April.......

Was not I, but did find a great deal online for the equivalent of 51GBP for a replacement 12 MP P&S (sorry not Pentax) camera. Paid for everything already and will it have by mid-week. There are great deals from reputable outfits if you look for them and are patient, BUT you better be able to act on them when you see it or...
