The following two pictures are the same shot, the first is the original and the second is a cropped version.

I am not sure which one I prefer, so have posted for comment.

Both have been tone mapped in Photomax Pro 4 with some additional adjustments in PSE.

The first one is definitely the best Drew, the crop doesn't work for me. However. I would suggest an alternative crop by taking some off the bottom as there is quite a lot of grass there.

The image is very lovely, great tones and lots of nice details. BTW, it's not the same image! The sky is different and the two people are in different places!

By the very unscientific process of scrolling the screen to read the posts I notice by accident that the second cropped shot looks very nice indeed if the bottom is really heavily cropped so there is just a couple of millimeters of grass under the house.

The copped version in the gallery is the best one imo, works very well indeed.
