A beautiful radiant sky with gorgeous orange and pale blue tones really makes this, although the silhouette is a strong component also. You've placed the main tree perfectly with room to breathe, and the far distant tree line adds further interest. A very good combination of elements!
It may not necessarily be an improvement, but rather an alternative ...I wonder if it would take to a slightly more 'pano' crop, with a little off the bottom, and a bit more off the top (leaving it just as wide as now) ?.

A lovely shot to celebrate St.Lucius' day, albeit a day early. Cloudy and mild here today as well. Sun's on its way back after midnight. Which is a nice thought.
