I didn't think they were going to be using Samsung sensors on future models.
Is that the sensor off the NX10 detailed above?

If you can't say something nice about Pentax, you won't say anything at all.
Apparently.

It appears to be a new model wih 14.2 mpix and 1080 video vs. 14.6 mpix and 720 video for the NX10 . Is that the sensor off the NX10 detailed above?
And what is interesting is that it was apparently listed in the dslr section of Samsung's website, as highlighted above.

Do you know it's back-illuminated CMOS sensor?
There is some news Samsung was busy making one.

Maybe Samsung or Sony, but why not Kodak?

As far as I know Kodak doesn't have CMOS sensors

Some CMOS, CCD or other new technology,
isn´t matter for me, such as 12MP or 15MP ...
I expect better sensor than K-x.
I prefer better ISO or better quality of picture.
But I know, that Kodak make sensors for Pentax 645D,
so we can expect some theoretical cooperation in this category ...
... such as Fuji´s sensor is sci-fi
But old good camera such as FF Pentax MZ-5n or MF Pentax 645N II with Fuji´s films still is Winner in the quality of picture.

10FPS on the sensor? Hmmm interesting.
Surely the fps is based on two factors. The buffer of the processor and the ability of the mirror and shutter to move at that speed.
Neither have been mentioned, only the A/D converter.
Now, if the K-7 shutter/mirror combo is capable of these speeds, and they can create a memory buffer, then all well and good.
We shall see if they choose this sensor.
But a sensor producing 10fps on its own? I don't think so.

10fps is only a speed indication it does not mean it does actually need to make those 10 shots
Something like 60rpm doesn't mean it must make 100 revolutions in reality it can be it makes just one but in 1 second
