I really liked my MZ-S ... it is still sitting there, unused and I wonder if I should sell it on to someone who will make good use of a mint condition one.
The MZ-S? That old thing? I'll give you a tenner for it...
That will cover the "Body Cap" and postage.

I have just been GIVEN an MZ-5 with the 28-70mm SMC Pentax-FA f4 lens and the 100-300mm SMC Pentax-F f4.5-5.6 zoom -- all in very good condition BUT camera is so 'Plasticky' -- the flash already has a bit broken off so it does noy stay up any more and the 100-300mm zoom does not 'zoom' any more!
I had to buy two new CR2 batteries and got it to work with some 1998 outdated Fuji Super G 400 I rate at 100 ASA as it so old -- well, there was NO instruction book but I 'fooled' the camera into setting 100 ASA by sticking a paper label over the DX coding on the cassette so it would default to 100 ASA and the TTL flash works with my Mecablitz 45 CL3 OK and it works with my 50mm f1.4 SMC Pentax-M lens on manual focus -- then I found an Online instruction book and found out how to 'fool' the DX coding-- but the MZ series are not as substantial as the Spotmatic or the MX and ME supers, would never stand up to 'Professional Use'
I used my MZ-5N for about 6yrs (and quite hard) and only got a very slight mark on the pentaprism housing - the recent buyer from this forum, will confirm that, so you must be, shall I say, a little ham-fister
K-3 II, K-3 and a K-70 from SRS (having now relegated the K-30 /"K-50" to a backup body), & some Sigma and Pentax lenses (and a lot of old 35mm gear!)

NO it was NOT ME that broke the flash thing it was the previous owner who gave me the camera -- probably also did something to the 100-300mm zoom.
I used the MZ-5 for a 70th Birthday on Saturday and will collect the prints today... I used it with my professional METZ 45CL3 in the hot shoe with the Pentax module for TTL flash.
Been a member of Pentax Club since the Ron Spillman era! Got COMPUTERISED at last - DIGITISED?
Taken the PLUNGE - BUT FILM STILL RULES !!!
