If you're not using the Astrotraceer function, you really should give it a go. Having the ability to record a single exposure of 120 seconds at ISO as low as 800 and the ability to stop your lens down to its sweet spot, this was f5.6 and all at 24mm is simple staggering. Then to end up with an image as sharp as this 8) Admittedly to get the foreground sharp a second image is required using the same settings and simply merged in post.

Just look at that second image - the darker bits are dust clouds that are so far away that there are stars in between them and us. Then behind the dust clouds you can see the brighter regions of our galaxy. It's mindboggling.

Love the photos, full of intrigue!
