The leopard

After my presentation, I would like to comment on my first photo on the forum.

a fine shot to enter with. Good use of the DOF but perhaps a bit to dark in the head. I find it hard to focus on the eyes - which should be the focuspoint in my view.

It is a hard shot with light and dark areas. The sun/shadows did not help you

Excellent subject and composition but underexposed. I'm not too knowledgeable on big cat markings but it does look like a Leopard to me.

Your assessment is correct on the lights, (Nimitz and Mannestty). The photography is done in a zoo.
The original picture is clearer, but it has reflections of the glass that separates the Leopard my pentax.

I see you are not too far from me, is there a zoo nearby as we were thinking of looking for something interesting to visit locally.

Hi mike. It is very easy to get to Valencia from Alicante.
A7 motorway, exit at Valencia - Valencia center.
The zoo is at the heart of the city.
