The Kremlin Walls, Moscow

C&C? I really like the contrast of the brick against the sky, and I think the couple and the lamp provide a nice foreground distraction. I've started cloning out the tree on the left, and I'm debating whether to remove the white building as well. This is conflicting with my interest in not photoshopping too much, and leaving the scene 'as seen'. TIA.

edited to add - on viewing in the web browser I may have over cooked it a little with the saturation?

Dramatic angle. As a stand alone shot I dont think the two persons adds much to this scene.

I prefer the second one - as you have avoided the trees at the left and it seems sharper as well. The first one seems somewhat soft.

Nicely exposed though.

Thanks for the feedback, just got to zoom right in in PS to get rid of the last bits of branch at the top of the wall now! Need to do a good job as I want to get this one blown up to A4/3 size.

I'll have to check when I get home but I thought I applied the same sharpening to both before I exported for the web - hmm.

Perhaps it is the cloning that makes the brickwork look softer? I think it might look good in B+W
