My card never ejected completely on the K7. Replaced the motherboard including spring mechanism and same problem. Repair shop said some are loose, other hold tightly to the card. Its a crap shoot whether the card ejects well or not.
My solution was to put a short piece of duct tape on the end so I could get more to grab on to.
