The Eyes

I wondered about entering this in the Weekly competition ... but decided on an alternative.

I was not going to get any closer than the 5 metres from the edge ...

The colours are "as shot" and are a good representation of the green algae. I watched as one croc' sensed something was around and glided across, then the second set of eyes appeared.

Took me a fair while to see what it was, you can see why wildebeest and Australians get swallowed by them. Fascinating.

I was the same, until I read your explanation.

Its not so much the Australians, but mainly the German and American tourists.
(some Pomms too).

I think that I would want to be a bit further away than 5 metres

As it stands the thousands of miles between myself and those (except zoo's) feels comfortable enough
