The Crystal Universe

Here's another image for us to mull over, this time shot at the Southport Flower Show a few years ago. It's pretty much a straight shot, made into my crystal universe with Levels and Curves in Photoshop.

Does it convince, or is my imagination running away with me?

My imagination is definitely running away with me... The Scream..Edvard Munch

Its a pair of sunglasses but with a nose hole support rather than legs which hook over your ears.
Or is it the expanding universe before it expanded, with intensely compacted matter congealed at the centre.

I really don't get it, sorry John! To me it looks like a photo of coloured gravel turned upside down. I must be completely devoid of imagination!

Could have been the model

Looks like this idea was a failure, but nonetheless always worth having a go. Thanks for the comments!
