The cold Atlantic

I've not put any photos up for quite a long time - these were taken last week in a very scenic area on the Atalantic Coast in Ireland - the Cliffs of Moher and then Burran. The colours are actually pretty accurate - a very grey day and rather drizzly to boot , quite a breeze too

I'm kicking myself that I didn't put my CPL on





both taken with the K30 and the Tamron 18-250. The ambulance was there as just round that bend , out of shot the Irish Army were teaching rock climbing

An accurate depiction of the place and weather conditions at the time. Good honest record shots.
I'm toying with the idea of getting a "one size fits all" lens so interested in photos taken with this type of lens. Thanks for sharing

I like my Tamron - it does make a good holiday lens , but I'm now beginning to realise about its shortcomings .

Nice to see some shots of the west coast of Ireland.
I like the 2nd best, partly because of the human interest.
Pity the weather wasn't a bit brighter.

It was chilly [ I didn't have a jacket ] it was breezy [ no tripod ] but the scenery was superb.

I turned round and spotted this - not army , but obviously gaining experience.

The rock formations are incredible there - oh for steady hands, no wind and a tripod

On my next visit .......

Nothing like parking as close as you can when your climbing a mountain!

From memory I would imagine that the landscapes do look like a very accurate record of such scenes in dull weather. They could just do with rotating clockwise a bit, to level the horizon.

It can get a bit Fresh on the west coast alright,
nice shots, i dont own a tammy, might look into getting a good all rounder for traveling.
