I was just about to agree with you when I thought: Well, couldn't that be achieved just by tweaking the JPG?
Here's my quick try. It's not as good as your RAW-tweaked version but I'm sure one could get very close to that.

Having said that, I still agree that it is sometimes quite useful to have the RAW. With the K20D I had to change WB quite often in the RAW converter, I find the K-5 much better in that respect.
So double shame that it hadn't arrived. Something to look forward to!

Amazing shot considering the poor light and high ISO used

Thanks everyone for having a go, just goes to show what can be done and makes me even more excited for what the K-5 can do (next week hopefully!).
This was taken at Whipsnade Zoo this morning and the light was nothing compared to 2 weeks ago when I was shooting at 1/800s at 400 ISO! A stronger monopod has now gone on the shopping list as well
One tip for any of you that are close enough to get to Whipsnade, up until 18th Feb car entry is free (they normally charge £15 to get your car in!!). Very handy for carrying heavy kit around as next week hopefully gonna see what the new tripod and K-5 can do!

Was quickly sorting through the shots deleting the worst ones, and this one almost got deleted, but I liked the composition so thought I would have a play
Must admit, I'm quite pleased with the results!
Dropped the exposure 1.5 stops with some adjustment of contrast, saturation and vibrancy and voila, a couple of moments later ended up with this
It's a shame that my K-5 hadn't arrived when I was at SRS yesterday as I could have really done with it today!
