You know how sometimes you open up an image for the first time and you marvel at it's pin sharpness, beautiful bokeh, stunning composition and perfect exposure?

Other times you are not quite so impressed.

The following shot was taken with a K20d and DA*50-135 - a combination that has taken millions of excellent images around the world, and takes effort and skill to defeat.

I think I can safely say that I managed it. This shot was taken through a fence which the AF did not like so I went to MF and focused on the top of the ramp. I got the confirmation bleep and it looked good, so I waited for the moment and pressed the button.

Remarkably as far as I can see, NOTHING is in focus.

Still - it's not uncommon to see a transit van fifteen feet in the air.

It seems that the focus lies near the red fence in the middle of the photo. it still looks very remarkable.

Regardless of the focus I love the picture!

Love it! But why is he indicating a left turn?????

I suspect that the fact that both the brake light and indicator are on together suggest that the forces involved have caused a short circuit.
