Looks pretty damn good Mike The shot of Julie especially is impressive for no PP and wide open at the long end.
Like the sneaky candids too I think you got clocked in the second one!

Look decent shots Mike - they make me want the K5 though not necessarily the 18-135mm

If you saw the original shots from the last two you would be amazed at the detail considering I was shooting into the sun and the people were quite badly under exposed. K-5 is really very good at that.
As for the lens .. I wanted something that was longer than my 16-50mm but better than the 18-250mm for when out walking and I think it works on both fronts.
No polariser.

Nice shots. Definitely considering the 18-135 as a purchase to make later down the line. If I only ever buy one weather sealed lens this would probably be it.

These do look sharp, so the lens is good, and the K-5's performance also given your description of the originals.
