I managed to take a shot yesterday which fits the theme nicely!
I was shooting a building in portrait orientation (handheld) and after taking the shot went to turn the camera back to landscape. Forgot I had earlier been taking an HDR shot and had left the bracketing on. So it took this photo as I was repositioning, and now I find I quite like it

Yes indeed, very evocative Mhuni I like the cabbies standing around yapping. Some things don't change across cultures
Great title suggestion Robbie. As this was a shot in Cambridge, in the courtyard of one of the colleges, I might modify it to 'The path of the drunken don'. (Plenty of those around! )

Kris; I also think the shot is great. Print it large, frame it and plonk it on a wall somewhere.

Do you know what the terrible thing is about these photos, they look good by mistake and if you try to do it on purpose it will never work

Alun, that's a great photo, you've the smile on the man's face with the blurred background looks like he is moving quite fast and enjoying it. It's a keeper

Love the smirk on the tractor driver's face in yours, Alun. And the fact that his eyes are covered by his cap seems to make the shot stronger.

My daughter always used to say " why do you keep the bad shots Dad ?? "
My reply was "so that I could see if I was getting better" !
This was taken with the MZ5n using my Pentax 28-105 FA or the 28~80 A Zoom on Ilford 400 I think and scanned through the Epson as a photo rather than a neg.
I rather like the mood......................
