Could count the amount of images I shot on one hand the whole trip! The light was extremely poor and flat with a slight haze to it so I have pushed the images as far as I think they can take it!

Its a bummer when that happens, you plan a trip, sort out free time, get there and its not what you hoped for.
Not much wrong with what you did get.
Really like the last 2 shots.
Good shooting
I know what i like, If not always why.

Thanks Derek, certainly was a bummer but I suppose it's new locations scouted for future shoots!

That foreground interest in 3 & 4 is this!

It reminds me of the film alien!

Tenby and the surrounding coast is wonderful, Gareth. We had a couple of days there earlier in May and were lucky with the weather. Some great locations.
Best wishes,

Andrew

First and fourth for me. I like the way the shingle adds foreground interest on the laft and the curve of the waters edge draws the eye towards the background in no.1

The fishermen is very good, did you pose them ?

I like them Gareth 😀

Trusty Welsh weather ☺

Tenby is one of those places I just haven't got round to visiting as yet, but I will at some point 👍
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

You have some really moody images there, Gareth, far from a waste of time, I'd say.

Thanks all, appreciate the replies. In my mind's eye I had visions of glorious sunsets against the multi coloured buildings but alas it never happened.

I may have said to them my vision for a longish exposure with the water blurred and them sharp! Gutted I didn't have the big stopper with me

Hey Gareth, the fourth shot is very beautiful. I love the shading and how still it looks.
