Tatton Park

We had a day out to Tatton Park today, not to see the house, just a walk around the park. As we were all there, I couldn't concentrate strictly on photography, but got wht shots I could. I must say, I'm very dissapointed with the focus on almost all of them, but that could be down to using a long lens either hand held or on a monopod ( didn't take my tripod).
However; to the chase:
Here are a couple for your C&C

First one for me. love the colour and texture. As for focus I can't see much wrong in 1, 2 or 3.

1 and 3 don't do much for me, but 2 is a nice shot. Has it been sharpened? It looks like it might be a little overdone. Also perhaps crop a little off the left, just to move the face a little away from the exact middle of the frame.

Maybe I did overcook it with the sharpening...I tend to do that.
I'll go back and give it another look, adn try that crop , too.

I can be guilty of the odd over sharpen or two myself

Nice shots
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

number 2 gets my vote too! charming deer shot. I don't know if it's over-sharpened, but I think my eyes add a little blur all of their own (must get my eyes tested...)

No 2 may be a little oversharpened, (but in reality are we all not trying to achieve the 'perfect pic?)

It is close to perfectly framed and we should all be happy with that result.

3 is a shot that could be better, however it is one to keep!
