advice please on the above not into macro but like the idear of a sharp lens what is the peformance like with a tc so in affect two lens

pentax da*60-250 pentax da 55-300 sigma apo 150-500 hsm os pentax af1.7 adapter
Pentax af aw 1.4 rear converter and a flash

I have paired my Pentax 100mm WR macro with both the Kenko 1.5x TC and more recently with my Pentax 1.4x HD TC and i'm very satisfied with the results from both. My 100mm f2.8 macro becomes a 140mm f4 macro and is sharp enough for my needs

Can't comment on the Tamron 90mm but have paired up various Pentax and Sigma macro lenses with the Tamron 1.4x, Kenko 1.5x and Pentax 1.7x teleconverters. IQ wise I found the 1.7x to be the best which was quite handy given the extra reach as well.
