It will all work fine - Set up the "using apatrue ring" in the custom menu set the camera to manual mode & focus and use the green button to set the shutter speed. there are detailed posts on the forum about using manual lenses try searching for "green button"

In my opinion that's a pretty damn good lens! Sharp wide open, reasonably fast for 210mm. The only problems I had with it is the lens cap comes off too easily, and zoom creep when holding it upside down. Mine was about £20, so you did well

I just bought a Tamron 80-210mm Lens (with Adaptall 2) Pentax K mount on Ebay for £8. I know it wont be pro quality for that price. I just wondered if anyone could give me a heads up on the problems I will encounter, using it on my K100d. Or if it wont work at all.
I know the angle of view will change but not sure of situation regarding auto focus/exposure.
Any help gratefully received and Merry Christmas to all Pentax users.
